Job summary

Mount Carmel, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Respiratory Assistant II to provide on-floor respiratory therapy under direct supervision. The role supports patient care across hospital settings and emphasizes teamwork and quality service.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in and in good standing in a formal respiratory care educational program.
• Maintains a current Limited Permit from the Ohio Medical Board; verification of licensure maintained throughout employment.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical skills to work in hospital areas and under supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.
• Works as a team with coworkers and provides excellent customer service to stakeholders.
• Initiates and administers therapeutic procedures and diagnostic tests per policy.
• Records patient assessments and maintains departmental records.
• Follows patient identification procedures.
