Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support district partners for the school year. You will develop IEPs, modify curricula, and provide individualized instruction to promote student success in a structured school-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• Experience in schools or with children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Modify general education curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide specialized instruction in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Track student progress and update IEPs throughout the school year.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines.
