Job summary

Alila Napa Valley, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician I (Part-Time) to join the Engineering team. This role focuses on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house systems with emphasis on landscaping, irrigation, and drip system maintenance, while providing reliable maintenance support across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of building maintenance experience in hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of landscaping experience.
• Painting and staining skillset.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Flexible scheduling with the availability to work swing shift, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscape areas and routine maintenance/troubleshooting with irrigation and drip systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and operational areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
• Complete all maintenance requests, work orders, and HotSOS tickets promptly and to Forbes standards.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Support the Engineering team in preventative maintenance programs and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and Hyatt standards.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to maintain a seamless guest experience.
