Job summary

Four Seasons Napa Valley is hiring a Hotel Maintenance/Engineer 1 responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing resort equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. This overnight role requires meticulous preventive maintenance per operating standards.

You will document logs, respond to service requests in guest areas, and contribute to energy conservation initiatives while upholding Four Seasons' standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in hotel or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Implement and perform preventive maintenance of equipment and update logs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and related systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms or public areas promptly.
• Respond to emergencies such as fires or power failures.
• Maintain organized work and storage spaces for department equipment.
• Install or relocate equipment when needed and assist with renovations.
• Support energy conservation programs within the hotel.
• Install electrical and mechanical systems for renovations and exhibit setups.
