Job summary

Seascape Beach Resort in Aptos, CA is seeking a part-time server to greet guests, deliver food and beverages quickly, and provide knowledge of menus with outstanding service. You will maintain a clean station, follow all liquor regulations, operate the POS system, and collaborate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and cordial service to all guests.
• Working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, point-of-sale computer systems.
• Must be reliable, responsible and able to work well under pressure.
• Must meet legal age requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and service procedures.
• Input orders into system and ensure transmission of orders is verified by kitchen when assigned to do so.
• Retrieve and serve all food and beverage courses to guests in accordance with departmental standards.
• Ensure tables are clean and reset immediately after guests’ departure in accordance with department standards.
