Job summary

Kohler Co. in Kohler, WI is seeking a part-time Cook for the Wisconsin Room. You will prepare foods to high culinary standards for restaurants, banquets, and a la carte service, while managing forecasts, par levels, and stock rotation.

You will work across stations, including grill and sauté, with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and equipment handling. Flex shifts include weekdays and weekends from early morning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; English reading, speaking and writing fluency.
• Be able to work all kitchen stations: appetizer/dessert, grill, sauté and food prep; broiler station experience preferred.
• Experience working in multiple resort departments/venues is highly preferred.
• Sanitation course completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods to culinary standards for service.
• Produce quantities according to forecast and par levels.
• Fill prep lists daily to ensure effective communication.
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and assist in monthly inventory.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety policies and maintain equipment cleanliness.
