Job summary

Innovation Learning on Mercer Island is seeking a Resilience Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role covers before/after school programs, school breaks, and summer programs with shifts 6:30AM-9:15AM and 3:45PM-6PM.

We look for candidates who can work five full days; the position emphasizes mentorship, enrichment, and academic support to help students build life skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children in schools, childcare, camps, or youth programs preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• 18 years old, high school diploma/equivalent and 12 college credits required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
• Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Follow all policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe learning environment.
• Support attendance, check-in, and dismissal procedures.
