Job summary

Innovation Learning is seeking a part-time Resilience Coach to support KIPP Wheeler and KIPP Douglass schools. This role covers before/after school programs, school breaks, and summer sessions with hands-on mentorship, enrichment, and academic support for students.

You will engage students, lead activities, assist with homework help, and help develop social-emotional and leadership skills in a safe, positive environment. 18+ years, high school diploma or higher, CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Promote respect, responsibility, and resilience as a role model.
• Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Lead enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
• Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
• Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe learning environment.
