Job summary

The Community Counseling Center of Mercer County is seeking a Residential Program Worker to supervise and assist residents with daily living skills and to maintain the facility. You will report to the Residential Supervisor and support residents in cooking, cleaning, and transportation as needed.

Responsibilities include timely arrival, medication oversight per procedures, documenting progress notes, enforcing house rules, participating in group activities, and attending trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with human services experience in a Residential setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Act 33 and 34 and FBI Clearances required.
• Must maintain a current driver's license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Arrive for work on time, at least 5 minutes before shift.
• Provide coverage for assigned site.
• Read daily progress notes from previous staff.
• Ensure residents attend daily programming as scheduled.
• Enforce house rules and document incidents.
• Complete daily progress notes on residents.
• Monitor medications according to procedures; initial med sheets.
• Inform residents about med refills and assist with refills.
• Count medications and record counts.
• Engage residents in group discussions and activities.
• Assist residents in daily cooking, cleaning, laundry and life skills.
• Provide transportation for residents as needed.
• Attend CCC in-service training; maintain CPR and First Aid.
• Attend monthly staff meetings; follow programming schedule.
• Hold monthly fire drills and uphold licensing regulations.
• Be available to talk to residents; maintain professional conduct.
