Job summary

Stevens Treatment Programs in Fall River, MA is seeking a Part-Time Residential Counselor for the Transitional Living Program (TLP). This 36-hour/week role focuses on daily care, supervision, and trauma-informed support for male adolescents and young adults to help them reintegrate successfully.

Responsibilities include leading routines, facilitating activities, mentoring youth, and helping them meet individualized behavioral, clinical, and rehabilitative goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid, current driver’s license for 3+ years and acceptable driving record (REQUIRED).
• Reliable personal transportation and compliance with Stevens’ vehicle requirements within the first 90 days of employment.
• Employees must maintain a valid driver’s license, current registration, and automobile insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 or a $300,000 combined single limit. (REQUIRED)
• Acceptable EEC Background Record Check
• 1-year experience working with adolescents in a residential or group home setting is required

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines, facilitate activities, implement trauma-informed behavioral support, act as mentors and positive role models, and support youth in meeting their individualized behavioral, clinical, and rehabilitative goals.
• Residential counselors provide a critical role in daily care and supervision for youth served.
