Job summary

Community Resources for Justice in Athol, MA, seeks a compassionate Residential Counselor for a part-time role (24 hours/week) at our Athol location. Starting pay is $18/hr and the position is eligible for some benefits.

You will supervise and transport clients, support goal attainment in their service plan, model positive behavior, and handle medications with proper documentation. A High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
• Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency.
• Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours.
• Support clients in achieving goals in their Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to promote quality of life while ensuring safety.
• Administer medications and complete documentation on progress notes and summaries.
