Job summary

RCHDC in Northern California is seeking a part-time Resident Service Coordinator to support tenancy, well-being, and resident education. You will develop partnerships with community agencies to expand programs and services, and create individualized housing plans for residents with special needs.

You’ll work with property management, compliance, and board members to design retention and enrichment activities, coordinate staff trainings, and track outcomes to meet funder requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years relevant experience in social services or housing programs.
• Knowledge of HUD, RD, TCAC, HOME guidelines and related regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Resident Service Manager, Department Director, Regional Managers, and Compliance staff to ensure effective operation of the Resident Services Program.
• Engage the Board of Directors to participate in design and implementation of housing plans, retention programs, service programs and conferences.
• Develop and administer needs assessment tools to determine resident needs and measure outcomes.
• Provide residents with information about available services and assist access through referral and advocacy.
• Routinely train staff on social coordination with residents for program benefits.
