Job summary

Crowninshield Management Corporation seeks a Part-time Resident Services Coordinator for Beachmont Apartments, serving elderly and disabled residents in Revere and Lynn. The role focuses on connecting residents to needed supportive services to maintain independent living.

You will maintain regular contact with residents, help develop social programs, coordinate community resources, and document interactions to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Provide general assistance and establish access to supportive and social services to all residents. Provide up-to-date information regarding programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and other entitlement programs and formal supportive services.
• Develop and maintain linkages with community resources, such as area agencies on aging and senior centers, in order to remain current regarding available information and services.
• Promote a positive social climate that fosters residents’ psychosocial well being by developing, implementing, and monitoring educational and/or social programs for resident participation.

• Maintain files/records of interaction with residents including progress notes.
• Prepare a monthly newsletter and distribute to all residents.
• Submit weekly written report summarizing tasks/outcomes for the given week to the RSC Program Manager.

Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities

• Assesses the individual needs of elderly and disabled residents and work with them to establish linkages to needed supportive services to maintain residents’ independent living status when requested.
• Maintains regular contact with residents, monitoring the receipt of supportive services desired by the resident.
• Works with residents to develop, support, and implement activities, functions or programs that promote a positive social climate.

• Develop and maintain linkages with community resources, such as area agencies on aging and senior centers, in order to remain current regarding available information and services.
• Promote a positive social climate that fosters residents’ psychosocial well being by developing, implementing, and monitoring educational and/or social programs for resident participation.
• Provide guidance and/or links to assistance particularly in areas such as housekeeping and reasonable apartment maintenance if those conditions conflict with lease requirements.
