Job summary

Robinwood Retirement Community is seeking a Part-Time Server to create joyful dining experiences for residents. You will help in Casual Dining and Fine Dining, greet guests, take orders, and ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities include clearing tables, assisting with room service, and maintaining a clean dining environment. The role focuses on friendly, resident-centered service, with opportunities to contribute ideas and support a caring community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and meeting service needs.
• Greet tables, guide menu selections, take orders, and serve courses in Fine Dining.
• Clear and reset tables, handle dishes, refill water carafes, and set tables before meals.
• Vacuum as needed, clean salad bar, and complete other cleaning tasks.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly attitude.
• Listen to resident comments or concerns and report feedback to a manager.
• Support other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
