Job summary

Robinwood Retirement Community is seeking a friendly Part-Time Server to help create enjoyable dining experiences for residents. You’ll assist in casual and fine dining, greet tables, take orders, and serve meals with a warm, attentive approach.

You’ll work afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed, with no previous experience required. English communication with residents, guests and staff is essential, and you’ll help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

Qualifications

• Part-time availability including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 15 years old.
• No previous work experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Must obtain required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require a work permit; guidance provided by the Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in casual dining by carrying trays and offering beverages.
• Greet tables in fine dining, guide menu selections, take orders, and serve courses.
• Clear and reset tables; manage dishes and refill water.
• Vacuum, clean salad bar, and complete other cleaning tasks.
• Deliver room service meals and collect trays with a friendly attitude.
• Listen to resident feedback and report to a manager when needed.
• Help with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
