Job summary

Providence Place of Chambersburg is seeking a compassionate, customer service oriented Dining Room Coordinator to enhance our residents' mealtime experience. You will train coworkers on dining room etiquette and procedures and help ensure a smooth lunch and dinner service.

The role requires superb customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lead a dining room team. A High School diploma or GED and ServSafe sanitation training within 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience in dining or restaurant service; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Completion of sanitation course (ServSafe) must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Must be service oriented with a positive attitude and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Train new coworkers on proper dining room etiquette and procedures.
• Ensure an organized process for meal service.
• Communicate dining room needs to the Director of Dining Services.
• Ensure the dining room is clean and set for lunch and dinner meals.
