Providence Place in High Point, NC is seeking a Dining Services Assistant to join our team, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. You will support cooks and dining leaders, help maintain a clean and safe kitchen, follow food safety guidelines, and participate in inventory and daily housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, setup, and service for residents.
• Serve meals with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Prepare and assemble foods for regular and modified diets.
• Assist with salads, baked goods, and other menu items.
• Support cooks and dining leaders with meal preparation activities.
• Clear tables and meal trays following service.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items as needed.
• Return clean dishes, utensils, and food service equipment to designated storage areas.
• Stock food and supplies and pull ingredients for meal preparation.
• Assist with inventory organization and rotation.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish, and remove trash as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Identify food quality concerns, including signs of spoilage or contamination.
• Complete required documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
