Job summary

Lyngblomsten's NEW Lino Lakes campus is seeking part-time Resident Assistants to support our new Assisted Living facility. Responsibilities include observing residents, communicating changes to the nurse, assisting with bathing, feeding, mobility, and rehabilitation activities under supervision.

Pay range is $17.50 to $21.64 per hour (additional if Certified). The offer may reflect FTE, skills, education, and experience. Lyngblomsten values pay equity and internal equity during offers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates an ability and sincere desire to work with the geriatric resident by showing a sense of responsibility, moral integrity and common sense.
• Must be able to understand and follow oral and/or written directions.
• Individuals must be at least 18 years of age.
• Meets standards for NA/R performance.

Responsibilities

• Observation of the resident's condition and communicating changes to the nurse.
• Bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, feeding, walking, and other appropriate rehabilitation measures as assigned.
• Vital signs, appropriate application and use of safety devices.
• Attending to various resident needs, i.e.: toileting, preventive skin care, and maintaining nutrition and hydration.
• Responds to residents call lights promptly.
• Documents care as assigned.
• Furthers own knowledge and skills by attending staff meetings and in-service presentations.
• Other duties within the scope of training as assigned by a team leader including activities with residents.
