Rutgers University in New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant for the Department of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The position offers part-time research experience during the academic year and/or full-time positions in the summer, with a fully on-site work arrangement in Piscataway.

The ideal candidate is a rising sophomore or junior interested in pursuing a career in medicine or biomedical research, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to follow and conduct clinical

Qualificações

• Enrolled undergraduate student at Rutgers University in a relevant science major.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with human research subject recruitment and/or pre-protocol preparatory procedures.
• Assists with data collection and/or data development for research studies.
• Accurately record all data and experiments in a lab notebook and/or in data sheets. Assists with maintaining study records and databases.
• Monitors and communicates with study team to ensure research protocol compliance.
• Assists with preparation of materials for institutional review board submissions.
• Assists in scholarship activity resulting from the research, including analysis and writing for journal articles.
