Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time chaplain to serve employees and their families in a remote field role based in North Branch, MN. The chaplain will visit sites weekly, provide confidential pastoral care, and support funerals and grief processes as part of our Employee Care Service.

Requirements include being part of a Christian ministry and ability to work across faiths, with strong listening and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary group in an interfaith setting.

Responsibilities

• Make regular visits to company worksites (usually weekly) to build relationships of trust and friendship.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for issues including family matters, illness, grief, and financial stress.
• Visit employees or immediate family members at hospitals, nursing homes, or homes.
• May assist in planning, conducting or attending funerals and provide grief support.
• Provide post-termination care to aid transitions to new work environments.
