Job summary

ABC Education Group's Polaris Global Academy is seeking a part-time AP Seminar/AP Research teacher to guide high school students through independent research in a fully remote setting. The role focuses on delivering AP Capstone content and guiding performance tasks according to College Board guidelines.

The position offers 2–3 hours of live instruction weekly, with asynchronous activities and use of LMS, Zoom, and College Board resources to ensure student progress. Remote work with no travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• AP Seminar/AP Research certification with College Board training.
• Direct experience teaching AP Capstone per College Board requirements.
• Strong knowledge of College Board rubrics and submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Remotely teach AP Seminar and/or AP Research to a small class of students.
• Deliver 2–3 hours of live instruction each week during the academic year.
• Guide students through AP Capstone performance tasks per College Board requirements.
• Craft engaging asynchronous learning activities and assignments to stay on pace.
• Utilize LMS, College Board resources, and Zoom to deliver engaging lessons.
• Deliver instruction using your own methods and materials within AP Capstone guides.
