Job summary

ASU Prep Global Academy is seeking part-time remote teachers to deliver instruction to multiple grades in a digital learning environment.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans aligned to objectives, maintaining parent communication, and performing light administrative tasks within the SIS. Candidates should have a teaching certificate, a relevant degree, and verifiable classroom experience. This role is not eligible for traditional benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Bachelors in Education from an accredited college or university.
• Valid State Teaching Certificate from any state; endorsements may be required depending on the area of instruction or have passed appropriate AEPA or NES proficiency exams.
• Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Delivers instruction and adapts curriculum and learning styles to meet student needs.
• Maintains open communication with parents/guardians about academic and discipline issues.
• Performs clerical duties including logging communication in SIS and finalizing grades.
• Maintains regular attendance as assigned.
• Develops activities and resources aligned with school objectives.
• Assess and evaluate student performance and progress using reports and objectives.
• Maintains confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Collaborates with staff to support the school program.
• Maintains a conducive learning environment.
