University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) seeks fully remote Adjunct Faculty who are subject matter experts in Fine Arts to serve as Instructors of Record for undergraduate and graduate programs. Courses run in six or eight-week sessions; YourPace programs are online, self-paced, and competency-based.

Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree (or terminal degree) and/or significant related work experience; graduate programs require a Doctorate or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum: master’s degree (or terminal degree) from an accredited institution, and/or significant work experience in related field.
• Graduate program applicants must have Doctorate, terminal, advanced degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses online as Instructor of Record.
• Adjunct roles contain six- or eight-week session starts and are fully online/asynchronous.
• Maintain current, relevant content and engage online learners.
