Job summary

University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) seeks Adjunct Faculty in Psychology to serve as Instructor of Record or to develop courses for undergraduate and graduate programs. Instruction may be online, on campus, or in other modalities, including 15-week or 8-week CBE formats.

Compensation follows PATFA guidance with rates varying by assignment and rank. Minimum qualifications include a master's degree for undergrad programs and a doctorate or substantial related work experience for graduate

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or significant related work experience) for undergrad programs.
• Doctorate or advanced degree (or significant related work experience) for graduate programs.
• Preferred: experience teaching at the college level; online teaching experience; competency-based education teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Psychology courses as Instructor of Record or develop courses.
• Deliver instruction online, on campus, or in other modalities; adapt to CBE formats.
• Create/apply for course development opportunities; participate in program needs and scheduling.
