Qualifications

• Must operate an off-road haul truck safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform pre-operational inspections and document condition of equipment.
• Punctuality and regular attendance are required.
• Ability to help train or develop other department personnel.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a mine environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an off-road haul truck as a relief operator for break management.
• Haul material safely and efficiently, minimizing wear and damage to equipment and mine property.
• Know the work area and dump locations; follow pit policies and procedures.
• Perform pre-operational inspections to evaluate mechanical condition of the truck.
• Assist in developing other personnel to perform duties listed above.
• Comply with all Kinross policies including safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct.
• Meet or exceed performance expectations and exercise sound judgment.
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance; work shifts as assigned.
• Perform other related functions as assigned by supervisor.
