• Bachelor’s degree in business related field or two years of experience with Southern Farm Bureau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to function with integrity and accountability in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Process new reinsured business and maintain existing reinsurance for life and DI products
• Understand reinsurance treaties and procedures to answer questions efficiently
• Maintain documentation on facultative cases to ensure reimbursement
• Assist in the preparation of Schedule S (Reinsurance) for the Annual Statement
• Review reinsured policies and transactions across Underwriting, Policy Service, and Claims
• Recapture eligible policies and manage retention limits across treaties
• Prepare monthly billings for traditional life and Disability Income policies on the TAI system
• Research and respond to inquiries from reinsurance companies
• Maintain and update original reinsurance treaties in the vault
