Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I for a part-time role with van-driving duties in Louisville, KY. The position supports rehabilitation therapists and helps deliver patient-centered care in a busy inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, transporting patients per schedule, and maintaining safety standards. CPR certification and a high school diploma are preferred, with opportunities for clinical ladder training.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.

Responsabilités

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
