Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous clerical experience preferred.
• Experience as Physical Therapy Tech preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Administers components of interventions (therapeutic exercise, activity, gait training, ADLs) per therapist.
• Sets up exercise, evaluation, or modality equipment.
• Assists in transfer and/or transport of patients as needed.
• Takes vital signs when required.
• Assists therapists with initiation and monitoring of treatment with available equipment.
• Monitors supply levels within the rehab department.
• Performs clerical duties (phones, scheduling, data entry, filing).
• Reports status changes regarding patients to supervising therapist or assistant.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of patient care equipment and areas.
