Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced RN for Summerlin Hospital to deliver safe, compassionate patient care in a busy maternity and acute care setting.

Ideal candidates are accredited nursing program graduates with NV RN licensure, BLS, and preferably a BSN. Acute care experience and leadership responsibilities are valued; pre-employment assessments are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current NV RN license.
• Current BLS certification; PALS or NRP as required by department.
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care preferred.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment assessment(s).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence standards.
