Job summary
Root Center for Advanced Recovery in Torrington, CT is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (22 hours weekly). The role involves supervising nursing responsibilities, administering medications, assessing patients, and maintaining documentation to support recovery care.

Qualifications
- Current active license in the State of Connecticut as a Registered Nurse.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- BSN license preferred.
- CARN or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing credentialing preferred.
- Adult CPR/AED certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and administer medications as prescribed by the provider and per regulations.
- Assist with intake/admissions and record vitals, specimens, and annual physicals as assigned.
- Conduct assessments and collect specimens including phlebotomy.
- Counsel on health topics (prenatal, nutrition, general hygiene).
- Report changes in condition to the provider/supervisor and document responses.
- Maintain thorough record keeping and documentation of services and patient status.
