Job summary

Landmark Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The role involves delivering safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, with direct patient contact and collaboration with physicians and care teams.

The position is part-time (approximately 24 hours per week), daytime shifts, and requires current RI RN license, BLS, and ACLS as well as acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff as needed.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and document care accordingly.
