Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume administrative responsibility for department service functions on shift.
• Directly supervise and support all staff house-wide.
• Ensure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Assist medical staff with scheduling after hour procedures and standby call staff members.
• Enhances the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies as needed.
