Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian in Punxsutawney, PA. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, implementing interventions, and improving quality of life for patients/residents. It is a clinical position spanning inpatient and outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Passed a national exam by the CDR or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
