Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving residents' nutritional status, with a 16-20 hour weekly schedule and a mix of on-site and remote work.

You will work with the healthcare team, adhere to dietetics standards, and support care planning and dining service nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Passed a national examination by CDR or eligiblity with the Academy.
• Completes continuing education hours every five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Interact with departments to set up procedures for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in the development and review of quality improvement programs.
