Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. The role includes assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and improving residents’ quality of life.

16–20 hours per week with 1–1.5 days on-site and 1 day remote. Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, adhering to dietetics standards, and contributing to quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements; CDR exam or eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs and evaluations.
