Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for the healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and enhancing residents’ quality of life while aligning with clinical goals.

Schedule: 16–20 hours per week, with 1–1.5 on-site days and 1 day remote. You’ll cover NRMC and the connected Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home, collaborate with care teams, and follow Academy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed the CDR national examination or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop dining and nutrition procedures.
• Participate in development and review of quality improvement programs.
