Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Holy Redeemer Health System Meadowbrook Campus in Meadowbrook, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life for patients/residents.

Typical schedule is about 24 hours per week in a healthcare setting. Requirements include a nutrition degree (Bachelor’s and Master’s preferred), passing the CDR exam or eligibility, ongoing CE hours, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs
