Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Holy Redeemer Hospital, Meadowbrook Campus in Meadowbrook, PA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs of patients, planning interventions, and collaborating with the care team.

Typically scheduled for 24 hours per week, onsite. Required qualifications include a nutrition degree, licensure, and CDR exam eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nutrition (or related field)
Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets Academy eligibility
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years
Licensed or certified per state requirements
Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights
Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics

Responsibilities

Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants
Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements
Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition
Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs
