Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support residents' quality of life. Typically scheduled 24 hours per week, onsite at Holy Redeemer Health System Meadowbrook Campus.

You will collaborate with the care team to implement nutrition care plans. Qualifications include a nutrition degree, CDR exam, CE requirements, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field.
• Master's degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passed the national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per the academy.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR guidelines.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing and improving continuous quality improvement programs.
