Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. The role offers flexible 4 hours per week or 8 hours every other week, Monday through Friday, with schedules adjusted to facility needs.

You will assess residents' nutrition, develop care plans, provide counseling, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring CMS and state regulations compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certifications/licensure in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• If multi-site RD, must have a valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings, labs, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents'/patients’ health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
