Cura-Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. In this role you will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and support quality of life aligned with each patient’s goals.

Typically scheduled around 24 hours per week, you will educate staff and residents, follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and collaborate with dining and care teams to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
