Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve residents’ quality of life in a hospital-meets-long-term care setting.

The role typically schedules about 24 hours per week, with opportunities to educate staff and coordinate medically appropriate nutrition plans in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (or related field) is required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
