Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for the Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, implement interventions to maintain nutrition status, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals. Typically scheduled for 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities include educating the health care team, following dietetics standards, coordinating with dining services for nutrition, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition is required or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• CDR national exam pass or eligibility required.
• 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and improvement of quality programs.
