Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is hiring a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for a Meadowbrook, PA healthcare setting. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving quality of life for patients/residents. Typically scheduled around 24 hours per week.

You will work with the healthcare team to ensure high standards of nutrition care and regulatory compliance. You should have degrees in nutrition, professional licensing, CDR eligibility, and a commitment to ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field is required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Passes the CDR exam or meets eligibility requirements.
• Maintains 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish procedures and policies.
• Participate in the development and review of quality improvement programs.
