Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Punxsutawney, PA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs of patients/residents and implementing interventions to optimize nutritional status and quality of life, in a clinical inpatient/outpatient setting.

As part of Cura Hospitality, you will collaborate with the care team, comply with regulatory standards, and contribute to ongoing nutrition care improvements. This position offers part-time shifts with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
