Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Albany, New York, is seeking a part-time Regional Coordinator to drive efficient administration for the Operation Christmas Child team. The role emphasizes data management, volunteer support, and effective communications with centers across the Northeast.

You will oversee volunteer networks, coordinate closures packets, recruit and train staff and volunteers, and contribute to regional strategic planning while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2–4 years related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident multi-tasker.
• Previous administrative experience preferred.
• 12 credit hours of Biblical Studies (opportunity to complete post-hire).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Northeast region OCC volunteer and collection data.
• Develop expertise with the internal volunteer website and support volunteers.
• Coordinate submission of collection center closure packets.
• Recruit, train, develop, and lead administrative associates and office volunteers.
• Prepare and distribute official communications and mailings.
• Provide administrative support for local and regional events.
• Support achievement of OCC shoebox goals and volunteer participation.
• Contribute to strategic planning for the Northeast region.
• Provide superior customer service by answering phone and email inquiries.
• Maintain office supplies, equipment, and materials.
