Job summary

Hamilton County is seeking a Part-Time Recycling Center Supervisor to oversee daily operations at multiple county offices and the county jail. You will manage recycling center activities, ensure proper material sorting, and supervise collection routes with box and pickup trucks, in all weather conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Equivalent of a high school diploma and one year of work experience in a direct customer service position.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of state and local traffic laws and environmental regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operation of recycling centers and collection of recyclables at various County offices and the County jail.
• Opens and closes the facility as scheduled; provides professional service; maintains containers and equipment.
• Oversees recyclable collection and transportation to recycling plants; operates box and pickup trucks; follows time-sensitive schedules.
