Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior forklift, compactor, recycling or collection experience is desired.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bills of lading for haulers and loading trucks.
• Prepares daily and quarterly reports and reviews them for accuracy.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned as needed and used properly.
• Answers customer questions and returns phone calls.
• Separates and sorts recyclable materials and ensures acceptable items only.
• Operates cash register, pallet jack, and related equipment; controls facility traffic.
• Maintains monthly volume records and reviews them for accuracy.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work site.
• Travels to other recycling facilities as needed to assist team members.
• Uses appropriate safety equipment and procedures.
