Qualifications

• Equivalent of a high school diploma and one year of work experience in a direct customer service position.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Prior to operating a County-owned vehicle, employees must complete the HC Defensive Driving course and/or an EVOC.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operation of recycling centers, including opening/closing, customer service, and proper placement of materials.
• Oversees recyclables collection from county offices and jail, including transporting to recycling plant and maintaining containers.
• Facilitates special projects (County Fair, schools, recreation centers, civic organizations).
