The role involves greeting patrons, processing transactions, using recreation software to monitor activities, run reports, and respond to inquiries. You will assist with coordinating groups, maintain facilities and equipment, and develop classes for the public.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety guidelines and safe working practices.
• Instruction techniques and guidelines for safe exercises.
• Ability to communicate effectively with participants and the public.
• Ability to interpret and apply department policies and health regulations.
• Capable of independent work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interact and greet patrons, process transactions, and assist patrons.
• Utilize recreation management software to monitor activities and facilities, run reports, and communicate with participants.
• Establish rapport with participants and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• Operate and maintain facility and program equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with groups to maximize facility usage and supervision during activities and events.
• Develop instructional classes and provide instruction to the Parks and Recreation Department and the public.
